In the email subject is: Response Required "your name": Please confirm your request for information
The email basically wants to confirm your permission to join my mailing list. Please do so by clicking the "blue Confirmation link" in the body of the email (as seen below in the image).
Why is this hoopla necessary (i.e., why am I hassling you when you already gave me permission on the previous page)? I hate spam with a passion and I want to make sure I never intentionally or unintentionally spam anyone. This also protects me from false spam complaints.
- Sometimes people mistype their email address. Other times malicious programs erroneously enter random email addresses in mailing lists; therefore, to make sure you are a real person and I don't unintentionally send you unwanted mail, please open this confirmation e-mail in your inbox and click that blue confirmation link.
- Also, Spam & Junk mail filters are more
aggressive these days. My messages often end up in spam and junk mail
folders; therefore, I do want to make sure you can actually find my emails as well.
- So if you don't see an email from me, Jody Heath (jodyaw@ourneucopia.com), please check your junk mail, other, or spam folder in your email program.
- Click on that email and select "Not Spam" or "Not Junk" (By
clicking not spam or not junk, you essentially tell your email provider
to stop putting my emails in the junk folder).
- Then return to your inbox (may have to refresh) and you should find it there and then click confirm.
- Note: if you get a lot of spam, you may not see it right away; therefore, as a last resort you may want to do a search of your inbox/spam folder for any or all these key words: jodyaw or Heath or confirm or response
- Once you've found my email, please add me to your contacts/safe list/white list for future emails. And should you ever not want to receive my emails, I will include an unsubscribe button in future emails.
If you still don't see the email after checking your inbox and or junk/spam/other folders, it is possible you entered the wrong email address. To fix this, just join my backup mailing list via this "Subscribe form by Clicking Here" and re-enter your information. You'll receive a new confirmation email within minutes.
